My name is Oliver Page. I explore ideas from the perspective of soul, drawing on depth psychology and mythology, as well as my own experiences.
Perhaps, like me, you know what it’s like to feel disconnected and disillusioned. Maybe you have wondered what you’re here for and what makes you come alive. These are delicate questions all too easily drowned out by the noise of modern life.
I’ve come to appreciate that symptoms, such as anxiety and depression, are not merely problems to fix or wrestle into submission. Our stuckness is itself the path, mysteriously calling us to uncover a deeper story for our lives.
Writing
I see writing as an alchemical vessel, a container in which to cook, distil, and refine the raw materials of my experience. I try to write in a way that sparks imagination rather than explaining or prescribing.
Feel free to explore my work. I hope you’ll find a useful question to chew on or a fresh perspective to help you navigate your own journey.

One of those therapists was quite memorable. He seemed unusually determined to give my stuckness a clean explanation. I told him about my insecurities, my doubts, and my desire to find congruent forms of expression in work and life. In response, he asked many questions about my parents, my childhood, and even the conditions of my birth. In the space of twenty minutes, he had the answer: my early life was to blame for my current disorientation. There was much work to be done.
